The Korea Institute of Materials Science (KIMS) is supervising ASEAN-Korea technology training program as a major event of ASEAN-Korea FTA project funded by Korean government from 22 February to 5 March 2010.

14 researchers from Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia were invited to attend the two weeks of training program. 

The training program includes studying the Failure Analysis technology of Korea from more than 20 specialists in the institute. Furthermore,  promoting the mutual development of ASEAN countries and Korea,  trainees also visit major industries in Korea.
