On Friday, August 21, 2009 KIMS had an official MOU signing with Fraunhofer, IFAM on the joint research collaboration on powder metallurgy in Dresden, Germany. The Vice President, Dr. Sung-Joon Kim had a productive and extensive discussion with the director of IFAM, Bernd Kieback, furthering mutual collaboration on a brand new topic of joint research activity.

Vice President Kim also visited IKTS, an institute that focuses on the powder metallurgy, especially on the porous metallurgy.

Although KIMS President Kyung-Mox Cho coudldn't partake in the signing, but expresses that the MOU singing with IFAM is a big step forward in pushing our research out in the global arena.
