Korea Institute of Materials Science(KIMS), a government-funded research institute under the Ministry of Science and ICT of the Republic of Korea signed an MOU with Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology(KICET), another government-funded research institute under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy on 29th of March in a main conference room at KIMS. The agreement aims to contribute to national development through the establishment of organic cooperation systems and research cooperation between the two institutes.

Below is the main contents of cooperation in the agreement

A. Joint R&D and practical application of ceramic and related material technologies

B. Joint planning for convergence cooperative R&D technology and infrastructure development

C. Promotion of joint cooperation projects for the development of local industries

​D. Technical exchange, human resource exchange, joint utilization of research equipment, and discovery of technology

    policies in areas of common interest
