KIMS invests in-house R&D funds in companies related to materials, parts, and equipment of future mobility |
KIMS selected companies in the new industry of future mobility to solve their key technical difficulties and support
commercialization. Aiming at creating new jobs in new industries, overcoming economic crises, and leading carbon neutrality due to
changing global value chain (GVC), KIMS has decided to intensively support companies related to the “new industry of future
mobility.”
A number of companies are aware of the rapid change in the industrial ecosystem but they do not know what to do and
how to respond. With the purpose of presenting the direction of the companies and strengthening their ability to keep pace with
innovation, KIMS plans to make an in-house R&D project to solve the companies’ key technical difficulties and support
commercialization.
The beneficiaries are the companies in the eco-friendly future mobility materials, parts, and equipment sector in
Gyeongnam: hydrogen or electric vehicles, e-mobility, secondary batteries, and autonomous driving, which are innovative industries
in the area. KIMS will allocate leading experts in the related industry for the R&D projects to support innovative technology of the
new industry and materials and parts commercialization. The institution also covers the non-R&D part such as supporting testing and
analysis fees.
